Santa Clara County Feasibility Track
Pathways Forward Recovery is evaluating Gilroy / South County as a potential location for structured, alcohol- and drug-free recovery housing serving adults connected to Santa Clara County.
Why Gilroy Is Being Evaluated
Gilroy provides a South County location with access to Morgan Hill and the broader Santa Clara County service network.
We are evaluating whether a South County residence would address a meaningful gap for adults who are recovery-ready but need stable alcohol- and drug-free housing while remaining connected to treatment, employment, probation/reentry, and other services.

What We Need to Learn in Santa Clara County
We are seeking practical input from people who currently place, treat, supervise, discharge, house, or support adults in recovery.
Proposed Operating Concept
The concept under evaluation is a structured shared-living environment for adults committed to maintaining sobriety. The housing operation would focus on a stable residence, clear expectations, peer accountability, personal responsibility, and connection to outside recovery resources.
Clinical treatment, detoxification, or counseling would not be provided on-site as part of the housing operation. Residents would continue using appropriate community providers and public or private services.
