San Benito County Feasibility Track
Pathways Forward Recovery is evaluating Hollister as a potential location for structured, alcohol- and drug-free recovery housing serving adults connected to San Benito County.
Why Hollister Is Being Evaluated
Hollister is the county’s primary population and service center and may offer different housing economics than neighboring Santa Clara County.
We are evaluating whether keeping a recovery residence within San Benito County would improve access, continuity, and affordability for local referrals while allowing residents to remain closer to their established services and support systems.

What We Need to Learn in San Benito County
We are seeking practical input from people who currently place, treat, supervise, discharge, house, or support adults in recovery.
Proposed Operating Concept
The concept under evaluation is a structured shared-living environment for adults committed to maintaining sobriety. The housing operation would focus on a stable residence, clear expectations, peer accountability, personal responsibility, and connection to outside recovery resources.
Clinical treatment, detoxification, or counseling would not be provided on-site as part of the housing operation. Residents would continue using appropriate community providers and public or private services.
